This strip reminds me of a cute debate in middle school. "Women in the Military" was the topic of discussion. Mind you all of us involved were in the 7th grade.
Of course the class was divided between boys saying that girls can't fight in a war, (or do anything other than housework) and the girls saying the guys were being "stoopid." Which of course, they were being "stoopid."
I remember vocally pointing out something. My dialogue went a little close to something like this:
"You guys are saying that women are weak, can't fight, and can only do dishes and cook, but what would your own mothers say to all of that?"
Whether or not I really said that, I don't recall. I thought it was the ultimate end to the debate, but alas - the debate still kept going. Maybe I didn't say it.
